West Redding Little League – Frequently Asked Questions
(Also known as: answers to the questions that appear in the team group chat.)
Welcome to West Redding Little League (WRLL) — where kids learn baseball and softball, parents become folding-chair professionals, and the snack bar somehow becomes the most popular restaurant in town.
One important thing to know right away:
WRLL is entirely operated by volunteers.
Every coach, board member, snack bar worker, field prep helper, and event organizer is a parent or community member donating their time so our kids can play the game.
When volunteers step up, the league thrives.
When they don’t… well… the chalk lines start looking a little abstract.
Who Can Play?
Kids within the WRLL boundary who want to play baseball or softball.
Experience is not required. Some players arrive ready to swing for the fences. Others arrive wondering why everyone is wearing the same pants.
Both are welcome.

When Is the Season?
